Our government today, our state organization today, is a government and a state organization that the nation directly operates, which is called Republic. There is no longer a separation present between the government and the nation which the past days carried. The government is the nation, and the nation is the government. Henceforth the government and the government officials understand completely that they are no different than the nation, and the nation is the master. (Kurtuluş 1923, 2013, p.23)
